Watch: Elli Kaplan Talks Brain Health, Aging, and Longevity with Wellthy

Neurotrack's Elli Kaplan and Wellthy's Lindsay Jurist-Rosner discuss brain health, aging, and why cognitive decline is something to manage early, not just react to.

Last week, Neurotrack CEO and founder Elli Kaplan joined Wellthy CEO and co-founder Lindsay Jurist-Rosner for a 30-minute conversation on brain health, aging, and longevity, hosted in honor of Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month.

For the last few decades, brain health was treated as a late-in-life concern, something to think about once memory or focus started slipping. That thinking is changing.

“Alzheimer’s disease gets diagnosed too late… health systems haven't had tools in place to make it easier to screen and diagnose patients at the population level. That's what we do, we help them do that."

Elli and Lindsay talked through why cognitive decline is increasingly understood as something to actively manage starting much earlier in life, not just something to react to once symptoms appear. They also got into the harder, more human side of this shift like how families recognize the signs, how to start the conversation with a loved one who may be in denial, and what it actually looks like to support someone through a diagnosis.
